gearbox approx changing time

how long should it take for the garage to change over my gearbox just so as i have a rough idea thanks

should take 3 to 3.5 hours.allthough i have done it in less expect the garage will charge you 4 to 5 hours labour if no one picks this up will post official time from autodata tomorrow

autodata time for remove and install is 2.6 hours not sure if that includes removing the front roll bar

thanks jan ,even at 4 thats less than i thort cheers ,just gotta to clean it up abit .thou next question is ... will it actually fit in the cabby boot to be transported down to the garage .tape measure time me thinks

lol matt ,yes gearbox is in and also apparently clutch was knackered so had a new one of those in too ,omg what a difference i dont have to press for all im worth to get under the dash any more to change gear .havent driven cabby around yet thou only drove it back from garage on monday and its been parked up since .hoping to get out today in it .will let you know cheers

took gearbox down garage in boot of astra in the end didnt want something still bit grubby in me cabby

I have just had a new clutch too, they really do make a difference! LOL

yes trace is really has made a massive difference so easy to change gear ,like use one finger to put in gear now ,lol can actually drive cabby in any footwear now not just the same pair of skate shoes lol
