Does anyone have a close up engine bay pic of the xr3 carb throttle link please I have something missing and don't know what Shocked

I still think I'm something missing but also I think iv used the wrong manifold Rolling Eyes I'm going to have a couple of hours in the garage tomorrow so going to take the hand full of manifold I have with me I will up date then Shocked Wink

This is what I have it's the link thats wrong it shouldn't be the bar type as it takes it to far away from the carb Rolling Eyes

i dont realy know how this should look but have you tries un bolting of from the manifold and turning it round? looks like it may make it closer Smile

Dificult to tell but it looks like the bar which goes through the bracket needs to go in from the other side(it should reach the carb then) the part with the ball on should line up with the square hole that the cable goes through, its the wrong side of the bracket at the moment.Try takeing it all apart and fit the arm onto the carb forst then slide the bracket which is fitted to the manifold onto the rod then bolt it to the manifold.If that makes sense its a bit dificult to explain rick

I'm going to have a play again to night see if i can get it work "for now" but it should look like this though I aint paying £40 plus delivery for a knackered carb tho

I've now managed to sort a heath robinson job on this to get me going I add a pic later lol if any one sees the bits or a cheap carb please let me know Wink
