club banner
what do we all think about a new club banner ?
the old one imo was the perfect size it fitted the gazebo perfect being 3m long. but we are no longer the ford convertible owners club and dont have the same web address.
we have around 40 quid in club funds prob just enough to buy a new banner, we dont have to pay 12 quid every month for hosting fees but may need some small running cost.
does anyone have any contacts regarding the printing of a new banner by any chance. had a look on ebay and the net in general and theres all sorts of prices. these give a one hour free design service and can print them on a mesh fabric for use on windy days

Re: club banner
I think we should invest in a new banner new start and all that i also would like a better image for the top of the page the one thats thier was one i used to see if it worked ok and isn't ideal imo
running costs so far only seem to be an anual fee of £14.00 to keep the website address running which means we could afford to purchase a new banner and also with money been tight for everyone even lower the yearly members fee

Re: club banner
i've had a look at my images and tbh i dont have anything any better. we'll have to try and get a good image this coming show season.
reducing membership fees could be a good idea, we may get more members paying if the fees are less any ideas on what the fees should be.

Re: club banner
membership fees when using the old site was £12 but as jan says the new site is much cheaper to keep online the old site was costing £12 a month while this new site cost a little over a quid a month so membership fees could be less. anyone have any idea how much less ??
membership fees should be sent via paypal as a gift to blackbess@fcoclub.co.uk
while we do not have the same running cost as before it would be good to have a new banner ane were open to ideas for anything else that members feel would benefit the club. the gazebo that we curently use at shows was bought with club funds and has come in very handy but some sides would be welcome at times.

membership with the old site used to be £12. but thanks to jan finding an almost free hosting service running cost are less so full club membership fees can also be reduced and are now just £6 per year thats less than a gallon of petrol. full membership is optinal but does help to keep the club online.
payments should be made via paypal to blackbess@fcoclub.co.uk please send as a gift and include your username so trace knows who you are.

Re: club banner
got a price today from a local company who make banners.
one the same size that we had with the old club name and web site addy on will be 42 quid. so what do you all think and if we were to say yes what sort of design do we want. somthing along the lines of the old one or summat a little more up to date. if were were to change the design then we would need some sort of drawing to give the banner printer some idea of what we want.
keeping the old size means that it will fit the old frame work and the top of the gazebo.

Re: club banner
Well everyone seams happy enough with it but for a few small points So I've given the printer the go ahead just hope it looks good as it's now paid for.
the window stickers would look good imo just as the banner looks but it's finding some one who will make them in small numbers. Anyone know of a free software that will convert PDF to word format do I can use the PDF file that the proof has been sent in on the info sheets and flyers
