fix or leave alone
removed the dash on the cab today to sort the problem with the pedal box (brake lights on constantly, grinding clutch pedal movement and generally not feeling right) anyway that's all sorted and the pedal box back with new brake light switch, used pedal box with new ratchet fitted and it all feels and works fine.
but I found a load of old wiring from at least one alarm system and one immobiliser along with the current immobiliser the thing is all's working fine now so I need to decide do I just tidy things up or remove all the old wiring and return things to normal.
old lazerline alarm and microwave unit
some dodgy looking wiring
current cat2 immobiliser I think I'm going to relocate the transponder to a less visible location.

Myself if your not gonna use it over winter I would be sorting all theold wires out whilst the dash is out and you have time then there won't be any nasty surprises right when you need it
Re: fix or leave alone
Already sorted it Jan I cut all the old alarm wiring out and re wrapped the loom and it still starts and runs lol
