me right now i'm using dodo juice purple haze. i normally buy it in small panel pots from ford fair at a fiver a pot. a panel pot is only 30mls but if used with a foam pad i can get at least 10 waxes out of a pot.
i'm going to have to be carefull here or i could be here all night pmsl
but waxing is only part of the shine to get really good results you have to have a good flat surface to start with. run your hand over the paint work and if you hear anything at all it's got fallout and will need to be removed, easyest thing for this is to clay bar it. if you just start waxing it will shine but wont be anywhere as near as good as it could be. after using the clay bar i always give mine a light polish using a mega fine polish (polish and wax arnt the same thing) i use chemical guys polish but have also used 3m ultra fine. then build up the wax with a few layers over the next few weeks mine normally gets waxed before every show or at least every four weeks during the summer.

you can buy a panel pot of dodo juice from ebay purple haze or blue velvet will be great on yours jimmy

blue velvet

or really push the boat out and go purple haze pro

claybars can be bought cheap enough on ebay

but tbh i'm a bit ocd when it comes to cleaning my cars and any good quality wax like meguires etc from allfrauds for a tenner a go will work great too but trust me claying it first will work wonders.
maybe we ought to have a detailing section on the site lol

I use Autoglym for black cars, only useful if your cars black!

I also use some detailer that I bought with Mick a couple of shows ago but I can't remember what its called. Can you remember Mick?

yep that will be the chemical guys detailer we bought about three years ago at a thoresby show. i've used about a dozen bottles since then and your still on the same one pmsl.
right now i'm using dodo's red mist as my quick detailer it's not cheap at a tenner for 250mls but it's by far the best quick detailer i've used the beading it gives is intence.
